I loved the post office as a kid; something about it seemed magical and mysterious, especially during the holiday season. When my mother would take me to buy stamps, I imagined what their day was like. My overactive imagination created a world where everyone behind the counter got briefed each morning about letters to Santa and that, behind closed doors, the post office was as mystical and extraordinary as Santa’s workshop.

But now, as an adult and small business owner, I know there isn’t anything mystical about how the US Postal Service operates. Even though it may not feel as enchanted, I still love visiting the post office, and I still have a deep respect for postal workers. They provide one of the most essential services we use today, but it’s often a thankless job.

That’s why I decided to leave the postal workers some little love notes on orders I was shipping out. It’s a small way of showing appreciation for all the hard work that they do, and I like to think it brings them a little smile when they see it.

I’ve shared the pattern and instructions for USPS Thank You stickers below. Small business owners know we wouldn’t be anywhere without our postal workers. Tell them how much you care today, and adorn your letters and packages with these stickers.
